FBMA LAPTOP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FBMA is proud to announce that they have completed their first ever scholarship program. The "2005 FBMA Laptop Scholarship" was a huge success. The organization received over 80 applications from young men all across the state of North Carolina. FBMA is very proud to be able to serve the young men of this state and we are very proud of the hard work and dedication shown by the young Black men of this state. Scholarship Award Recipients: Damien Brown (Raleigh, NC) - Averett University Milton Brown (Durham, NC) - North Carolina State University Randy Davis (Monroe, NC) - Gardner-Webb University - "FBMA GRADUATE OF THE YEAR" Jamar Dawson (Raleigh, NC) - North Carolina State University Myron Hailey (Roseboro, NC) - University of North Carolina Darryl Harrison (Cary, NC) - University of North Carolina-Wilmington Quinton Hurdle (Greensboro, NC) - Guilford College Jonathan James (Raleigh, NC) - North Carolina State University Devin Johnson (Greensboro, NC) - University of North Carolina-Charlotte Angaza Laughinghouse (Raleigh, NC) - University of North Carolina-Greensboro Brandon Parker (Durham, NC) - North Carolina State University Derrick Parks (Durham, NC) - Savannah College of Arts Wilbur Pender (Franklinton, NC) - Catawba College Joseph Perry (Charlotte, NC) - Morehouse College Brian Waritay (Charlotte, NC) - Florida A&M University On Saturday, July 30th at 6pm, FBMA held its "2005 FBMA Scholarship Awards Ceremony". The event was held to honor and applaud these young men and the laptops will be awarded at this event.
