Future Black Men of America, Inc. Mission
“Future Black Men of America, Inc. (FBMA) is an organization designed to improve the quality of life for African American males. We hope to improve their chances of success by encouraging them towards success in education, emphasizing the importance of morals, values, ethics, and spirituality, and by empowering them to become socially and economically responsible for our society.”

2007 FBMA LAPTOP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

FBMA is proud to announce that they have completed their 3rd Annual scholarship program.
The "2007 FBMA Laptop Scholarship" was a huge success. The organization received over 40 applications
from young men all across the state of North Carolina. FBMA is very proud to be able to serve the young men
of this state and we are very proud of the hard work and dedication shown by the young Black men of this
state.

Edward Gibson - UNC Greensboro
Malcolm Jones - UNC Charlotte
John Livenere - Norfolk St University
Christopher Parker - UNC Wilmington
Isaiah Scott - Morehouse College
Dametrius Spear - Howard University
Ferrell Townsend - University of Penn

Edward Gibson was awarded the 2007 Future Black Men of America, Inc. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award.

The awards was given at the FBMA Awards Ceremony on July 21st in Raleigh NC.
The event will be held at the Wake County Commons Building at 4011 Carya Dr. Raleigh, NC 27610.
